Artist Biography
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Deb spent much of her childhood camping and fishing in the Canmore and Drumheller Area. Deb raised three children, ran a succesful home business until her youngest started middle school, then saw much of North America and the Caribbean Islands as a Flight Attendant. Deb moved to the Drumheller Valley with her husband in 2009 and officially retired in 2013.
Deb started her journey as an Artisan at a young age doing Needle Point, Ceramics, Sewing and Photography. Deb furthered her skills as an adult in Carpentry, Home Design and most recently painting on canvas.
Artist Statement
I feel blessed to have been given an Artistic Eye. I love having fun experimenting with different materials and mediums. I believe there is beauty in all things, and as I am reminded often by nature "Life is not perfect"
My wish is that you are able to see the beauty and wonder as I do.
